Our key people
Our story began with George.
And his grit, determination, and gift for groundworks. With many years of hands-on experience, George brings a solid and solutions-first approach to site work.
He has a background in all things below ground. Not much can faze him – George has an uncanny ability to find a solution to every challenge. Hard landscaping is George’s passion, however his groundworking experience makes him equally at home leading large earthworks and concrete pours.
Who was then joined by Ric.
A carpenter by trade, Ric has an eye for detail and extensive expertise in craft, joinery, and construction; bringing a steady hand to the running of our projects.
Ric spent many years as a joiner and foreman for our good friends at Harbour Construction, based near Rock and Polzeath. He has a deep knowledge of every stage of the construction lifecycle and splits his time between our sites and office to ensure each build runs smoothly, on time, and on budget.
Followed soon after by Polly.
An award-winning garden designer with extensive build experience, Polly brings a wealth of horticultural knowledge to Crest landscapes.
She spent the first half of the 2020s running a highly successful garden design agency, building numerous high profile landscapes both across Cornwall and several RHS flower shows. Polly has a passion for sustainability, focusing her designs on biodiversity, regenerative practices, and local materials.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
A diverse team of skilled masons, carpenters, and machine operatives also make up the Crest family. As we’ve grown into a versatile and driven crew, we have been united by a shared goal: to create beautiful, lasting spaces with purpose and precision.
Whether we’re breaking ground or adding the final touches, we bring the same passion to every project.
